I took a -33% loss on Friday on my SMCI purchase that I started anew on January 29, 2026 @ $29.50. Two SMCI employees got arrested for selling nvidia chips to China. One was a co-founder of SMCI. SMCI wasn’t part of it, just their 2 employees and some other dude. The 2 employees were put on administrative leave because of the arrests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t know of any news articles implicating SMCI, but the stock cratered big time. Because of this, I bought more SMCI late Friday @ $20.97\/share, in afterhours trading, to Average Down on my initial position in Jan 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not sure who dumped the SMCI stock on Friday, but I’m happy I bought more while SMCI was on fire Friday night. I’m guessing the market overreacted. We’ll find out next week and\/or later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
